NPC Faction Reputation

I play on NA #2. I've been trading with and running deliveries for NPC factions. I never miss a deadline, never abandon a contract. I've made 107 million SC. This is all I've been doing for a bit. Completing a run decreases my reputation. I'm not friendly with any of them. my best is + 6 or 7 and it ranges down to to -634. What gives?

I'll explain the rep problem for aquisition jobs (for other job types the rep is multiplied, but the problem is the same). When you complete a job, you get +4 rep for that faction. Also you get +1 rep for that faction's friends (you can see who they are in the factions menu). But you will also get -5 rep for each of that factions enemies (you can't see who those are, just from comparing your rep before and after). As no faction has 5 times as much friends as enemies, the overall reputation (sum over all factions) can only decrease with every job.... I also find that really unbalanced and disappointing.
