Not able to select skins to repaint blocks ingame
When I hit "P" to select the paint color and skin, where there should be a ton of skins, such as clean armor or rusty armor, there is nothing except for the "None" skin with the red 'X' for the icon. I can still pick any color and change the hex code to anything I'd like, just no skins. I don't know exactly how or when this happened, however when I played about a month ago, before downloading the newest DLC (the one that added Pertam) I had all the skins available and selectable. I've tried restarting the game, restarting steam, restarting my computer, and uninstalling and reinstalling Space Engineers and nothing has fixed the issue. I'm not sure if this is common or not as I couldn't find anyone else with the same issue online, but hopefully there's an easy fix. Attached is the last log I have from playing, where I didn't have access to picking a skin to paint.
Hello, Andrew,
thanks for letting us know. However we are not able to reproduce it. Tried on all graphical presets and everything seems to be working just fine. Maybe you have some custom settings? If so, can you please share/specify it? Do you run the vanilla game or using mods? Are you sure you are running Steam in Online state and not in Offline mode; in this state, some features are not working properly and fully.
You can also try once more Verify the integrity of game file; even though that would not do much, I guess, as you tried to completely remove and download game in new installation.
One more option is to delete the SpaceEnginners.cfg file. First you shall do back up, obviously.
To do so, you need to access game folder by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. Navigate to Space Engineers folder there, locate the file and just delete it.
Kind Regards

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling again, however, nothing seemed to change.
I also made a copy of the SpaceEngineers.cfg file, deleted it from Space Engineers from inside the Roaming folder, relaunched the game and the issue still persists.
I do typically play with mods but I tried booting up a world with no mods and the issue was still there. I'm curious if there's a way to completely uninstall every aspect of the game. I have a feeling it didn't uninstall everything when I uninstalled as afterwards, it kept all of my changed keybinds.
I appreciate the help

So I tried the file verification again. I also tried restarting steam in offline mode, booting up the game, (had the same issue), then closing and restarting steam in online mode, booting up the game, and I still had the issue. I also tried deleting the entire ShaderCache2 folder and launched the game, and to no avail, the issue still persisted.
If you have any single other recommendations, I'll try them out, because I'd love to paint different textures again. One thing I did notice is that if someone on a server builds something with a different-than-default skin, I can "copy-and-paste" the same skin and color using Shift+P, but that wouldn't help unless I had someone place a block every time I wanted to paint something specific.
Thanks again!

Hi, Andrew,
no new way how to fix it for you today... but... please, can you specify once more whether you are running the game singleplayer or on server? Your particular DS server, Lobby with you friends or public server? That way I can investigate... well, at least on the right place :)
Thanks for providing the info in advance.
Kind Regards

The issue occurs for me both in singleplayer and on a dedicated server that a friend hosts from a leftover computer he has. The server is technically public but we have a password on it so that random people can't join. I don't know if it helps much but I believe the server is hosted using something called Torch. I won't be able to try this until later tonight, but I should be able to find a random public server and see if the issue persists, though I imagine it would. I appreciate you helping me!
Thank you,
Andrew
