Hello jonathon!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. The first thing that springs to mind is just to double-check your H key to make sure signals aren't switched off. I appreciate this can sound really silly, but sometimes it can be that. If that's not an issue, are you using any mods in the server? If so, is it possible to test this without them just to see if they are playing a part at all? You said you tried on another world, was this an offline world of your own?

Hello Laura.

After delering the game and reinstalling it, I mannaged to get the signals working on my own offline and online worlds. unfortunately on the server it still doesn't work. it is a totally vanilla server and after testing it for over a 2 hour period after reinstalling I still didn't get one to spawn on the server. I have even checked all buttons to see if that could be the problem.

Kind regards,

Jonathan.

Hello jonathon!

Thank you for confirming. I'm glad your offline/online worlds are now working. Is it possible that the server has them switched off? Enable containers needs to be enabled. I wondered if it's a possibility these are not enabled as it's not your server. Are you aware if the players are getting them?

Hello jonathon!

Thank you for confirming this. In that case, although you have reinstalled and that helped partly, I would suggest the following then testing the server again to see if they are showing up for you.

  • Verify your game files in Steam

  • Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

/bfSnH0rGoN-NgctSWBJN3LfvWZvgnfye9BrPgucxV0n8TDpNc-7yZYwSifdRXyl1quu20KGUNmHzSf6VGRbhWS4a_EYn2MclxJSOz6eVarmz-fhTWVaofVOAVZN_l_leF9dgQ5GF

  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file

  • It means your game configuration will be deleted
  • You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

  • Delete ShaderCache folder

  • Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
  • Restart Steam
  • Reinstall VC Redist 2017
  • Update graphic drivers
  • Reinstall the game
  • Make sure your operating system is fully updated
