Won't Fix

Hello.

Since a few weeks (and I play SE on this computer for a few years), I can't anymore save any game, modded or not, new or old... the error message is (and I'm french so the message is in french, I'm sorry) :

"La sauvegarde de l'univers " système stellaire XXXX-XX-XX XX:XX " a échouée. Cela peut-être du à un manque de mémoire ou des problèmes lors de l'écriture de fichiers. Utiliser encore ce monde peut causer des pertes de progression. Vous pouvez consulter les journaux pour en savoir plus sur la cause de l'erreur."

Exept that my computer still have memory, and I've uninstall then reinstall the game... but the problem still there...

I'm on Windows 10.

Hello Rufflé!

Thank you for contacting us. Could you please provide us with your logs? You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

I also suggest you to do following steps:

  • Verify your game files in Steam (Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files)
  • Delete your SpaceEngineers.cfg file (It means your game configuration will be deleted. You can access it in the same folder just like your logs.)
  • If the above-mentioned advice won't help, please back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it and try to reinstall the game.

Kind Regards
