No GUI on connecting to Dedicated server

I'm hosting my own dedicated server and after a while of being absent I wanted to play again. However when connecting to my dedicated server I only get a spectator camera and none of the GUI elements are being loaded in.
I've already tried verifying game files and completely uninstalling and reïnstalling the Dedicated server software. Also tried moving the content folder of a Client Space Engineers to Dedicated server because I was getting unable to parse texture header errors on the GUI part in textures however this also does not help at all.
I'd love to know what I can try to get my dedicated server working again.
