My ship keeps vanishing while loading saved game

Game was saved 22.08, and when i load it today, my large ship vanishing, subgrids, previously attached by adv rotors. stays at place. SE Toolbox shows that in old save file ship exists.


Possibly caused by one of 2-3 mods, used only there.

Er... It seems, there are more suspicios mods, than i said first time...

There are Star Wars Astromech, Radar(or Active Radar), Energy Weapons, Albion railguns 2 types, Bussard Ramscoops, Buzzer, Letters-Scrolling, Benches, Bunk Bed, Civilian Bed, Simple WorkDesk. Some weapons from Engineer Defense Kit in storage...

And Power transmitter set to transmit. But small grids with PT as receiver are ok.

Other mods' blocks are used on other large grid, and it's ok.

My issue is with small grids. They're gone from existing games (SE toolbox says they're there) and I can't paste in any that have Cython's shields on it. Getting this error whenever I try.

Correction: My issue seems to be with the small-grid blocks from the Nanobots Build and Repair Mod. Large ship blocks work fine, but the small-grid version causes issues. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=857053359

I've had this issue, It's due to outdated mods (I do however think the game should 'give up' vs. deleting someones grid... or at least save it, and continue, Skipping defective grids) If you have XL Industrial installed, Check for "AreaWelder" in your SANDBOX_X_X_X_.sbs file(s) Find the ship that is disappearing, Delete the defective AreaWelder entries and save the file, Then, Rename the file of the same name, With the extension "sbsB1" to "sbsB1.old" If your game loads, Delete the ".old" file when you feel like it.


If you want, XL Industrial was updated to fix this issue, But i think you'll still need to replace area welder entries.

My case are solved!

Just removed Astromech Maintenance Droids from grid (featuring XMLPad), then removed mod from modlist of saved game - this is important too, and ship gets loaded in all of it's black beauty.

Thank you for your report. We will look into this issue. However, unless it can be reproduced on a clean, un-modded server, it is usually caused by a certain mod or by combination of mods which we have no control over. Can you please confirm this issue also occurs without mods?
