My controller won't work after new update

With the new update my controllers triggers will no longer work when I am holding a tool or gun. The triggers work fine when I'm placing a block. I am using a PS4 controller with ds4 windows to emulate an xbox controller if that helps.

Hello, Archie,

thanks for letting us know about this issue. It was indeed successfully reproduced and thus put into our internal system.

Till it get fixed, I found out that you are able to weld/drill/grind by using the touchpad on the controller. Seems odd at first, but better than need to reach for mouse and keyboard every time :) Hope this helps at least a bit.

I'm experiencing the same bug with both a DualShock 4, a DualSense (both using DS4Windows), and a generic Xbox360-compatible generic controller (GameSir G4s). The game recognises all of them as Xbox controllers, and in all cases, everything works except for using the tools with the triggers. Everything other than the triggers works fine, and they work in menus too.

Hello, Archie,

so, unfortunately, it turned out that this issue won´t be fixed. At least not in near future. As the game is not supporting PS4 gamepads as such, we can not provide any guarantee that it will work without issues. Moreover, when using some 3rd party software.

I´m sorry I could not bring better news to you now :(

But the game recognises it as an xbox controller. I even tried my Xbox 360 controller (both wired and wireless) and it still wouldn't work, the drivers work fine and every other game works, space engineers even worked before this update

yeah, you are right. It is indeed not working now. How very strange... I did test it initially with the PS4 controller as well and it was working. Now it is not.

Put the info about not working Xbox 360 controller into our internal system.

Might end up in a same manner, though, as the only one really supported controller is the Xbox One one.

We´ll see. I keep you updated.
