Multiplayer - cockpit disables info blob for others

During our last play session, We found that any time someone jumped into a cockpit on my friend's local multiplayer, all other players lost the info hud that normally occupies the right side of the screen. This part of the HUD is what tells you what components you need to build the current block you are looking at.
This bug was observed when anyone, anywhere, hopped into a cockpit, it caused the info to disappear

I did find a workaround to the problem which may help in troubleshooting the issue.
If, after the first person has gotten into their cockpit, a different individual enters and immediately exits a separate cockpit, it re-enables the info blob for everyone, including the first person's info, showing them info on whatever thing they were holding when they got into the cockpit. It still leaves something to be desired, but we found the players trying to build things by hand defintely needed the UI more than the guys flying didn't
