mouse cursor bug Steam remote play

Won't Fix

So far every time I've tried to boot space engineers the mouse Cursor doesn't want to display on the remote computer. On the host computer, it displays fine. The only problem is I need to work on the remote computer if I can't see where my mouse is. How am I even supposed to start the game? I can't tell if this is a problem with the game or if this is a problem with steam so I'm here to let you guys know that if you are trying to run the game through Steam remote play you won't be able to see your mouse cursor the strange thing is whenever you try to hit shift-tab to access the steam menu your cursor returns and shows the normal cursor but when you exit it to return to the game it disappears I'm not sure if this is a setting or whatever it is

Hello, gabe!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I have done some digging and found that Steam's recommendation is to plug in a mouse on the remote PC which seems like quite a basic response but unsure if you have one plugged in there or not? https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0689-74B8-92AC-10F2#invisiblemouse There is also this thread https://steamcommunity.com/groups/homestream/discussions/0/133260492055766130/ which seems to have quite a number or positive replies which may be worth a look.

It seems like there are quite a huge number of threads regarding this for a wide array of Steam games so would imagine this is more down to Steam rather than Space Engineers itself. Do you have this issue with any other games?

Kind Regards
