Mouse Controls not working ingame

Hi,

i have exact the same problems as posted here:

I opened this new thread because the Mod tells so in his closing-comment.

When the Game is freshly started, the mouse is working properly. I can click through any menus, click any button, start a new game. All fine.

As soon as i am in the game and have my engineer in front(example: started new game "The first Jump") i cannot use the mouse to look or turn around. No Mouserelated action is working.

Moving using WASD and turning using NUM2,4,6,8 is working properly.. but no mouse-controls at all.

Using ESC to have the Menu showing up is revealing the Mousecursor, too. It is movable in the menu and Menu-Buttons react on mouseover by changing their color, BUT they are not klickable by leftclick. To exit to Mainmenu or using any other Option i have to hover the Button using the Mouse and press SPACE or ENTER to confirm.

Back in the Mainmenu its the same like in the "Pause"-Menu. Before starting a game, when it was freshly started, everything works well at this point... but after quitting from a game Leftclick isnt working here anymore.

Workaround:

I can confirm that the solution, posted by Benn Tylor in the topic above, is working for me.

STRG+ALT+DEL and opening Taskmanager then getting back to game is restoring full mouse controls for this session.

What i have tried so far without this workaround:

- Reinstalled the Game (using Steam) several times. Rebooted System after earch deinstalling.

- Used 2 different types of USB-Mouses an ALL of my USB-Ports (4 Back / 4 Front)

- Run the Game-Exe as Administrator

- Run the Game in Win 7 Compatibility-Mode

- Installed newest Logitech Mousedriver / Graphicsdriver

- tried different Gamestarts/Szenarios/Load saved games

Nothing works.

Unfortunately, I do not own the game at the moment. I m able to try it because it is offered free2play by Steam at the moment. This action is limited to 3 days.

Although it is 100% my prefered type of game i cannot buy it at the moment because of this bug.

So i will not be able to try other things posted here or to provide more information in the future. But perhaps this information will help you to improve this great game so i can buy it one time.

Im Using Version 1.189.040, installed by STEAM.
