Missing Sky Textures!
Reported
I have a mod that I made to make some new ore types spawn on planets, I use the PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc file to do this. I noticed in my testing that is was getting 44 Errors for something that I should not have effected. So I did some digging and found that the resource that is being called is not in the Space Engineers Directory.
Directory:
SpaceEngineers\Content\Textures\Models\Environment\Sky\xxxx.dds
I have attached a log file.
Files:
Error Log.txt

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Step 1) Make a mod that includes Triton.sbc without modifications
RESULT:
Triton skies are now black.
Read the error log. DDS files cannot be located.

One way to get around this is to include the dds files with the mod. Would be nice if that could be fixed. The texture loader for the material and height maps for example uses the installation directory as fallback if a texture was not found.

4 Months and this still isn't fixed?

It would be nice if this issue was addressed. It should be as easy as including the sky textures in the next update.
