merging with bases makes convert to ship impossible

when i merged a ship to my base to build it (wrong idea) it was converted to a station(no problem so far) but when i deactivated my merge blocks i couldnt convert to shib then i also deactivated my bases merge blocks still not convertable and then i grinded all merge blocks (bases and want-to-be-a-ships merge blocks) still not convertable. I had to blueprint and paste the ship and manual delete the unconvertable because even without any source of power it would not despawn pls fix this bug thank you
