Merged/connected ships uncontrolled rotation

Seeing this in my world when two ships connect, via merge blocks, connectors or even landing gear. So far, have only seen this when small grid connects to large grid and small grid to small grid. Have not tried connecting large grid ships to each other, yet.
Bug occurs when ships "dock". The docked ship will begin to rotate in all three axis around it's CoG. Reloading the game does not help. Turning the ship off and on again does not help, but rotation increases when ship power is off.
This is making my carriers difficult to fly. Am I the only one seeing this?

I have the same problem with two large ships. When attached with landing gear everything rotates slowly.
Merge blocks also seem to cause random rotations when (un)merged.
Fixing either of these would be greatly appreciated.
