Max health doesn't update at suit change

Solved

When creating a modded character with different max health the modified character health will not updating untill respawn.

Thanks for the reply, other configurable values update instantly with suit change but max health is not one.

Is this makes as outdated because people haven't voted for some time? Of because it's 10months old?


It's still a issue that prevents players making character mods

Hello Chris!

I have been trying to test this and somewhat failing at the first hurdle. I have been unable to load the medical room mod. I've added the mod in when starting the game and the instructions mentioning needing to start the game and then unzip it. I am unable to load the mod in to allow me to unzip it. Also, my assumption is that the mod folder is for local rather than workshop. Could you possibly post some steps for reproducing the issue? Also, a little help on the medical room mod.

perhaps I shouldn't have included that mod as its quite an old example from keen on editing health stats.


just look at this mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2028943594 for the combat engineer he has a health stat set to 200hp (i know the bar will only show health as a percentage so will only show a maximum of 100).


I used thruster damage as a comparison for damage taken over time. taking a default engineer standing on a thruster until death.

then Changing suit to the combat engineer and doing the same its the same amount of time to get killed, but after respawning in the combat suit, the time it takes to die is doubled.


this was also confirmed by another modder using a script to display HP level in chat but unfortunately, i don't have that.
