(MAJOR CRASH) Holiday Update

Space engineers is completely failing on my system, crashing my computer past bluescreen (no indication of the crash being detected, my computer doesn't even know that it crashed when I reboot it.)
All this update did was add a few new blocks, how hard can it be to just add a few new blocks?
Also the performance of the game is cut in half (I could originally run 5 120 km planets and have no casualties or slow in gameplay, now my computer cant handle 1 of them before dying under stress)

please update your game when new hotfix is released (v193.103). It will be released today (23.12.2019).
Regarding performance: No, there is no connection between new update and your local problems because the game code was not changed in XMAS update.

Thought it fixed itself, but still problems. Locks up my keyboard and mouse with no choice but to reboot. Doesn't happen with the economy update. Not sure what else to do.

The preformance issue did come with the xmas update. Ive also been having to deal with long load times, really bad lag, massive memory leak taking up all of my G-RAM and my RAM (16GB of RAM and 8GB of G-RAM)

Also the render distances have been drastically reduced
