[1.193.103] Lost Colony - Incomplete datapads again
Won't Fix
Hi there,
just started a new Lost Colony game in version 1.193.103 and unfortunately all the Datapads scattered around with more than 1000 charaters are truncated again.
This problem was already fixed. See Bug Report here.
See attached 1. Picture of first Datapad found, 2. Savegame with first Datapad in inventory
Maybe you could have a look on this again.

I have the same problem here. Plus every time I clicked the content then the game crashed. And the action of reading the datapad of Hiroko Zhang wouldn't trigger his next coordinate.

I'm having an issue where once opening the data pad once it goes blank and never gives me coordinates making progression impossible

I'm having this issue as well. First Huang datapad is truncated (no coordinates show in the text), no button to create GPS marker, clicking in the message body causes game crash, and clicking 'ok' causes the message body to go blank.

Just tested "Lost Colony" in Version [1.194.048] "Frostbite"
Found the first two Datapads. It seems to work now... anyhow only regarding the Datapads not truncated anymore and splitted correctly.
Testing some more and reporting back.

I am currently playing on ver1.194.048 default.
The data pad problem seems to be solved. I can register GPS coordinates, and it seems that clicking the text does not crash the game.
However, the freight box problem still seems to remain.

I have find the following two freight box issues:
1. When accessing the freight box, the inventory column is not displayed.

2. The contents of another container in the same grid are displayed.
Check it in Leroy's bunker.
I place the small container in creative mode and access the freight box, the contents of the container will be displayed.
The two bugs listed above may be the same.

With version [1.194.048] i can confirm the same issues with freigth box inventorys not displayed; e.g. Freight Boxes at [GPS:Communications Tower:-33109.02:33977.7:40685.76:] or [GPS:Mine - Woodworth:-33518.89:35063.38:38551.27:] had no content and/or inventory displayed.
These above problems not happen with version [1.194.081] anymore. Now all my tests showed no problems with freight boxes.

Relogin may not help.
However, it may be displayed correctly after several times of access to freight box.
This wasn't just a "Lost Colony" problem, but it was the same for freight boxes installed in other worlds.
This bug is not specific to "Lost Colony", so I don't think it's appropriate to discuss it further in this thread.
