Landing Gear Upside down

The landing gear for large blocks always snaps to upside down no matter what way i am facing the block and i can only move it left to right and i cant flip it the right way up. i have seen this problem being mentioned since 2017 and it is still not fixed. it makes creating a ship next to impossible.
if you could please fix this that would be great because otherwise i cant build any ships.
