Landing Gear pushes on ajacent blocks

Molten Carnage shared this bug 3 years ago
Solved

Landing Gears push on adjacent blocks to it's lateral sides, and possibly it's top side, causing the ship to drift, or even spin and roll erratically. I am including a link to a vanilla ship I published to Steam; this ship is not mine, I just used it to demonstrate what is happening with the Landing Gear Block. I have included some thoughts on the ship's workshop page as to how this might be corrected. I have also noted that this does not happen with the Magnetic Plate block released in the Industrial update.

So it's been some time, we've had some updates since this was reported. I'm hoping this hasn't been forgotten as it is problematic.

Hello?

A friendly nudge. This still hasn't been fixed. Mentioned today on Devs Lost in Space Jan 19 2023. It's clear this has been forgotten.

Thanks

This is one of those bugs that are never going to get fix, right? Even though it sends grids out of control?

Please fix. This sends small grids drifting out of control. Almost 2 years and still not fixed. All it requires is a collision box tightening.
