Klang causes plates of armor to spin

While messing around in creative, i decided to demolish an outpost by dropping armor blocks onto it. When i dropped a 20x20 plate of heavy armor blocks onto it, the plate started spinning on its own, without any rotors. I then dropped more and more plates to see what would happen. Apparently whenever a plate is merged with too many other plates, they all collide and take damage.
Whenever the armor plates were laid flat and dropped, they would pass through most blocks just like that.
