"k_EResultFail" when donwloading mods on ds since steamworkshopupdate

Investigating

since the last steam workshopudate i get a "k_EResultFail" on my dedicated sever with nearly every mod but the same mods are working fine in singleplayer or coop.

outgoing form tiping with modders and from looking trought the steam community page iam not alone with it and many mods have atm this problem.

i searched for the "k_EResultFail" a bit and didnt found a topic where it was clear fro mthe name of the topic that it was going in the topic over it, a dedicated server exception can be a wide variety of errors so thought it was going over a bunch of errors not this one specific.

That's fine, I'm not accusing you of not looking or anything. It can be confusing with the whole error log listed in the post, but I'm just making it clear that is what that topic is actually for. Good luck, hopefully the fix works for you, assuming you have full access to all the DS files.

Hello

had to remove 8 Mods because of this behavior. 5 Mods are working fine.

Please fix it.

I have this bug for weeks, it's not possible to play with mods properly, and if you already use mods on your server, your server will not start anymore. It's a mystery for me why this is not already fixed. -.- And I don't know why you don't implement proper logs for mods that causes problems, this is basic programer stuff.

Not only is there a possible workaround, the devs are finally investigating the issue. Hopefully it's fixed with the next patch.
