Jump drive and Hydrogen engine projection exploit

reposting these since keen marked the old ones as outdated even though the bugs still exist:

Basically if you refill an H2 engine or charge a jump drive, blueprint it, project it, and weld it, you get a free jump drive charge or free power from the engine.


people on servers have been making elaborate automated projection welding and grinding systems for infinite jumps or infinite power. It really makes my job as an admin so much harder. It's also kind of game-breaking since these exploits allow players to become very powerful on multiplayer servers.

Just comment on the outdated that it is still true, they might reopen as happened on other bugs. And they care about feedback even less then bugs.

thanks for the suggestion but I was told by Kienata to make new tickets.


In their own words: "I would strongly suggest creating new tickets for tickets marked as outdated. These tickets (outdated) are unlikely to receive any formal review as the reported item may have changed, the logs supplied may not longer be applicable, the issue may already be resolved etc .."

Hello!


Thank you for your report. We have been trying to replicate the issue but unfortunately without success.


When we create a blueprint from a fully charged Jump drive or a filled Hydrogen Engine and then weld their projections, the welded blocks have to be refilled / recharged. See a video in attachment.

Can you please provide us with a specific blueprint where the Jump Drive / Hydrogen Engine are fully charged / filled after the projection welding? These blueprints may be very old or have edited files. Thank you very much.

Blueprint has to be of a fully recharged jump drive in order for the exploit to work
