Joining Multiplayer server hides mod download status

When joining a multiplayer server, the "Waiting for server to respond" dialog is directly over the dialog where it normally displays the mods download status.
This leads to players thinking that the server is unresponsive rather than waiting for mods to download.
I have the same bug
On the same note - if you re-connect to a MP server with F5, the game will give you a "Server not responding" error if there are a lot of mods on the server.
