Issues with atmospheric thrusters not receving power
Won't Fix
When I try to use Atmospheric thrusters in any of my 3 creative worlds, they do not receive any power. Tried to use override but it just gave me 0.0
I have the same bug
And they are not working? What planet elevation (not altitude) have you tried? Atmo thrusters ain't working over coupl thousands meters, I believe some moded planets might have elevated surface so much you won't be able to use this type of thrusters. You should contain more information about problem, version, mods used, scenario when it happens, this might help resolving your problem.

This Issue is happening accross multiple worlds. I dont have any mods applied but i do have may downloaded. I do also have many workshop creations downloded an the Atmo trusters on them dont work either. I did just create a new world for a total of 4 worlds and the atmo thrusters are working but in my other 3 worlds they are not. the world i was in last befor the thrusters stopped working did have many planets spawned in but in the other 2 worlds i have done almost nothing and the thrusters dont work. I am very close to the planets surface.

Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported?
It would be helpful if you could provide us the saves of your worlds.
To report a bug into our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it.

I have been able to reproduce a similar problem a few times on titan in survival in the latest release (was also happening a couple times during public test). Still quite random. hard to reproduce. I cant force it to happen with these steps below but these are the steps that sometimes cause it.
Atmo thruster on battery powered craft.
Connect to a station on the ground using connector lock (not P). A Gravity is 0.00 and P Gravity is 0.25
Set battery on craft to recharge
to disembark enter craft and set battery to auto
occasionally i will notice the atmo thrusters turbine is not spinning and know this bug has occurred.
if i disconnect in this state the thrusters will not power up. the rest of the craft has power. gyros work etc.
Only way to fix. save. close session. continue save. No need to restart SE.

As this thread as well as last comments here are quite old now, can I please ask if any of you are still experiencing it even nowadays (v197.181)?
If yes, can you please share the save where this issue is happening?
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
That would be great help, as well as a video where this bug is visibly happening.
