Issue with large rotor/piston assembly

I was trying to use a array of rotors and pistons to make a mining platform.I understand now that I need to make it smaller if i want it to work properly. I thought this may be useful knowledge if you wanted to make it more expandable. I have the video of it occurring but it is more than 2Mb if your interested.
