Inventory order resets after leaving game
I have a very specific order that I like my grid inventories to be in, and it is incredibly frustrating for everything to suddenly and randomly get shifted around after I exit a save.
After reconstructing a grid and confirming that the order was exactly how I wanted it, I exited the game. After a couple hours when I returned to the save, I found that the inventory order of the grid had shifted drastically, throwing everything out of order, forcing me to rebuild a fourth time. Yes, four. This has happened to me three times in this save alone already.
I cannot provide you with a copy of the game I am working on because the only way for you to see the changes is to have a before and after, and I will not be able to tell you whether or not the inventory will change between saves.
Issue might be tied to using the "local grid alignment" function. If I add a block with an inventory to a grid using this function and not pointing at the grid, it looks like its adding all block inventories starting from the blocks closest to the new block being placed. After leaving the save and coming back the inventory screen changes based on this new order.

Hello!
Thank you for the information. I have been trying to reproduce this, however, unable to. Is it happening in a particular mode such as creative or survival? Any extra information would be great for me to try to reproduce this.
Kind regards
