Inventory items went into negative
Solved
When trying to put away items from my inventory to the base, I had 0x items in my inventory. I then tried to remove those, but could not. After a bit of flying, I checked my inventory and had these -x items. They remained in my inventory until I took those items and got back to 0 (no 0x items were displayed).

Are you playing singleplayer, multiplayer game or on dedicated server?
Does this issue persists after reloading the game? If it does, please try uploading world file in here.
