Instant Crash After Splash Screen

Solved

I can't play SE anymore because it won't launch at all and just crashes at the splash screen telling me that my GPU driver crashed might be overheating etc.. the problem persists and only in SE.

I've tried these fixes: Verifying files, Uninstalling the game and re installing it, uninstalling any workshops subs and dlc's and done a fresh reinstall deactivating dlc's, uninstalled and completely removing any reference of keen and SE on my comp including registry keys, done fresh installs of older geforce gfx drivers aswell as newest ones (and only drivers unselected any extra apps), unistalled and re-installed DX11, .Net, unselected ingame overlays on discord and steam, no probs in dxdiag.

One thing i found interesting in the logs is that it says Steam.OwnsGame: False, wich is misleading in so many ways as I have bought it and got 4 dlc's to it in my library but probably has nothing to do with the crash.

Yes, that seems to have fixed it, thanks, i've been cautious about installing updates since im running my OS on a rather small SSD drive, not sure wich one of the updates fixed it though, and i've not had any trouble with anything else since that, except maybe the weather effects making things stutter a bit but that's probably due to my aging computer parts and the highest settings heh (mark as solved)
