Inconsistent behavior regarding conveyor sorters and oxygen flow.

Reported

While trying to design a ventilation system for one of my ships, I've stumbled upon a weird behavior regarding conveyor sorters and oxygen tanks.

For the most part, gas only flows "upstream" through conveyor sorters, but there are some anomalies in behavior depending on sorter's orientation relative to grid's axis and whitelist/blacklist parameters, and I'm pretty sure it's a bug. Behavior does't change from sorters being turned on/off, only from orientation and active filters.

Examples of this behavior are in screenshots below(I've added grid's axis and marked anomalous behavior to better illustrate this bug.)

iscbrewtuk161I'm not sure what type of behavior is intended in the first place, but I would like to suggest to add oxygen and hydrogen sorting as a toggleable function in sorter gui or at least fixing existing behavior to be consistent with what ever was intended.

Hello, Dmitry,

thanks for sharing you issue with us.

This issue seems rather interesting. You think it is possible that you share the save where the grids from screens are, so I can take a look on my own, please? It would be great help for me to dig deeper into it.

Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards

Unfortunately I don't have the save file anymore, but it's easy to recreate. The only difference between each sorter is it's orientation and it's parameters (I believe I used specifically blacklist/whitelist with no options and with *ore* filter to test this). I used air vent set to depressurize on an earth type planet as an air source and an oxygen tank as "consumer" block (tho when i first encountered this bug the O2 generator was used as an oxygen source and an air vent set to pressurize in a pressurized environment as a consumer). I can recreate the same setup if you want, and sent you a file later today.

Hello, Dmitry,

thanks for coming back so quickly.

Yes, please. If that doesn´t bother you much, it will be great help for me!

Thanks in advance.

Here is a world save. This time I didn't mark sorters with text panels, instead colorcoded them (grey is default blacklist with no parameters, green is blacklist with *ore*, red is empty whitelist and blue is whitelist with *ore*). This time the behavior was somewhat different, but it is still bugged (almost all of the tanks didn't start to fill up, except for 2 of them).

Hello, Dmitry,

I´m terribly sorry it took so long, but please be sure I was working on it some decent time, trying to find some pattern behind it all... well, I didn´t :(

Anyway, the issue is nicely visible on the save you provided and on the screens here as well. I put the issue in our internal system.

Sorry one more time.

Kind Regards
