In locally hosted multiplayer games, clients get stuck streaming when they die

In a locally hosted multiplayer game, if a client dies, whether this is with a weapon or suiciding with "backspace", and autorespawn is turned off, they get stuck infinitely in the respawn menu with the "streaming" icon at the bottom. They can click spawnpoints and press "respawn" but nothing happens or renders in. They have to leave the game and join again to be able to spawn. This is particularly annoying in PVP maps that we do, because if someone dies they have to rejoin which takes a while.

When has voting for an issue ever fixed anything?

Your company is incredibly mismanaged, you need a complete and total reorganization and a new owner.

This bug still persists, sharing worlds is essentially impossible for us.

Hello, Both!

As this thread is rather old and outdated. Please make a new thread with reliable steps to reproduce the issue you are facing and either a save file, log or video if applicable to help us understand the issue.

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
  • You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

Kind Regards

Laura, QA Department
