Solved

After opening the editor in a programmable block, the buttons at the bottom and the X at the top will highlight but only show the tooltip when clicked the esc key will not work to close it either. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing to no avail.

Hello,

we are not able to reproduce the issue. Could you please try to backup and delete Space Engineers folder in Appdata/Roaming, then try to reproduce it again?

The game will create the folder again upon next start up. Just be sure to back it up first as the folder contains all local scripts, mods, blueprints and saves.

Please let us know if it helped.

Also do you play vanilla version of the game without mods?

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Whatever it was cleared itself up and seems to be working fine now. The only thing I did was uninstall and reinstall which didn't seem to help but after restarting a couple of times (the game and the computer) it just went back to working. Thanks for your prompt response and help.

If this happens again (I get this issue here and there), use both Left- and Right-Click to Left-Click the UI buttons. Maybe have a ever-so-slight delay, so it's Left,+Right-Click,-Release. It SHOULD work flawlessly if you do that- it does for me, anyway.

This issue has (roughly) a 1/7 chance of happening on game load, double if it happened last time the game was running, and persists throughout that game session.
