Won't Fix

One big problem with respawning is that YOU CANT CHANGE THE %&)#%*$#* SPAWN LOCATION. You may think "Well why not just destroy the medbays?" WELL THEY SOMEHOW FIX THEMSELVES.

honestly this isnt a big bug its just kinda frustrating to spend 2 hours trying to find the one friend ur playing with.

Hello, Engineer!

Could you please provide us with more information? Do you play in Lobby or on a Dedicated server? Do you use any mods? Are you in a faction with your friends? Also, your friends' Medical Rooms have to be set on "Share with my faction" or "Share with all" to allow you to spawn there.

To report a bug into our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it.

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated!

It was a friends only server and we were in the same faction but only after I spawned originally, which spawned me at a random medbay, and even if I tried respawning I wasn't given any prompt to change my spawn location. I had to spawn in a new ship, fly a good distance away, and then blow it up to by chance spawn in my friend's medbay. It just was a little inconvenient.

Also about the medbays fixing themselves, I didn't experience the problem myself but my friend was trying to find me one time and the ship he dismantled to avoid respawning there somehow fixed itself.

Hello!

Thank you for your reply. This could be caused by the settings of your friends' Medbays in the world. Are they set to "share with my faction" or "share with all"? Could you please provide me with the save of your world?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

There is a setting in the server config for automatic respawn at closest medbay, ask them to turn that option off.
