Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for contacting us. Frostbite DLC is a part of Space Engineers Ultimate Edition. Can you please try to restart Steam?

Kind Regards

So, no answer?

you bought the bundle few days after the release of the DLC when it was not included yet.

bundles are no season passes.

@dalkgamler. While I disagree with your idea than an "Ultimate edition" shouldn't include every DLC/ be ultimate. This bundle does indeed include it, as stated by Keen. They claim it is included in the bundle that I bought, and that I should have ownership of the Frost bite DLC.

if you buy a complete collection on steam today you wont get any other additions to the collection either.

i get that it can be slightly misleading but it nowhere states it is including future dlcs or is a season pass. you buy what you see with the all bundles. But as they even state on the top of the bundle:

"Space Engineers Ultimate Edition includes the base game and all of the past DLCs for Space Engineers. Our newest DLC is sold separately. Enjoy the definitive version of Space Engineers as you build and explore across the stars!"

according to SteamDB the frostbite dlc was added june 24th to the bundle. so it wasnt included at the time of purchase. the bundle also wasnt aviable for purchase from april until then. sparks of the future is not included either which it will probably be one day.

as a owner of all previous dlcs you also get 15% off so thats something.

and even if it was a purchase error its something handled by valve.

You see the thing is, they stated on Twitter that it would be included, the DLC is included in the packet, and I am supposed to own it. Also they claim it has all the past DLC (Frostbite is past DLC) but not their newest one, sparks. Therefore they claim it does include frostbite by their very own wording.

Valve says it on Keen to properly update.

i can find these tweets https://twitter.com/SteamyPheniox/status/1215863164438401024 https://twitter.com/SpaceEngineersG/status/1246492414971240448 but no other mentioning of the bundle or frostbite.

You bought a bundle! at march 22nd which didnt include the last dlc. bundle just means everything you see you get in march there wasnt a frostbite dlc included or listed as coming soon as part of the bundle so you dont own it.. you even see it in your purchase history in steam what was included.

the new bundle released june 2020 has the same name but is 2.80€ more expensive and includes frostbite.

Yeah well I had this https://twitter.com/SpaceEngineersG/status/1240993779068227584?s=20 but as you can see Keen went back on their word and changed their opinion and strategy to earn more money.

i found it. it is badly worded thats why it is probably deleted. and it the dlc was added in june.

it does not say previous owner get the dlc for free neither anything else. you misinterpreted this tweet which is a truely a bad response(leaves space for interpretation). i can understand u there but bundles are bundles. and reading produc information insteaf of twitter would help.

sry to disappoint you but you wont get it for free.

I must give you credit for doing a good job researching and giving answers far more valid than the borderline non-exciting support Keen gives out.

In this case it is borderline false marketing, as when I bought the bundle it said it included all DLCs and Frostbite was released at that time, yet the bundle did not include Frostbite. This, the crap they said about including more decorative blocks and such in the base game long ago, and Medieval Engineers really shows what company Keen really is. One that I for sure won't risk dealing with again.

Hello, Engineer!

Since there is no new comment from your side in quite long time, I do understand this thread as solved. Again we are sorry about the confusion in "ultimate edition" wording not being season pass.

Kind Regards
