Hydrogen, Oxygen, Energy not being consumed in Survival

I am running a dedicated server; after the update to 1.195.019, players are not consuming hydrogen when using jetpacks, or oxygen in space, and suit energy does not decrease in space.

I have checked that creative is not enabled, and confirmed by placing blocks which do not immediately spawn completed (they still need to be welded).

This was working as expected before the update.

Additionally, ships fuel tanks don't decrease during flight, and H2 generators don't process ice.

I’ve the same issue. I have a hosting provider for our dedicated server and it occurs on the hosted server. When I set up a hosted dedicated server on my pc and had people join it worked as intended (mining, h2/o2/energy worked). When I transferred this world directly to the server host, the bugs reappeared, even using the config file I created unaltered.

Specifics: Survival server dedicated host with following bugs since dlc dropped. (This does not occur with all hosts as I have tested it hosting myself and it worked fine.)

1. No h2, o2, energy usage by character in suit

2. Mining destroys voxels but does not produce ore

I hope this helps.

It looks like power is not being consumed either. It is almost like we are in creative, but we still need the components to build the different types of blocks. I have confirmed that my server is in survival mode within the config files.

We ran in to this. Turns out our hosting panel sets simplified simulation to true by default and that is when these issues popped up.

Turning simplified simulation off in our server config and the sanbox sbc file seems to have resolved it for us.

Yes, it seems that the update toggled that option on for some people. Turning it off solved the problem for me.
