Hydrogen Engine completely non-functional
The hydrogen engine does not store or consume hydrogen, or generate power in any capacity, even while connected to a functioning O2 generator and a hydrogen tank that is not empty.
The O2 generator refuses to generate hydrogen for the engine (tested while providing supplemental power to the O2 / H2 gen from a backup battery that had plenty of charge). At the same time, the O2 generator will generate hydrogen to fill bottles or connected hydrogen tanks.
The hydrogen engines won't take in hydrogen from any source, and therefore can't provide power. I have been very careful to check that they are connected properly (items can pass through them from connected containers to the O2 generator, so they must be connected).
I'm playing with default settings in safe mode (no mods).
