Heavy particle lagspikes or crash.
Hello good morning/afternoon.
My problem is, whenever I grind/weld any block (or while drilling), each time any block passes through the Building Stages, it pops out a black smoke, the lag-hell smoke, sometimes the smoke is minimal and does nothing to my performance, but once in a short time, a BIG smoke particle appears during the building stages and overloads my computer, sometimes the particle persists so much, it manages to tank the game for some long seconds, or even crash it.
(I'm using graphics at minimal and destruction debris off, they're not the problem, there's no option in the graphics tab to remove this building stage's black smoke, just mods to do it)
And mods shouldn't be a Must-Need for a problem like this (Just... reduce/remove particles or place a dedicated graphic option to do so)
Do you have pressurization enabled ?I am experiencing same problem although not everytime - sometimes when adding new block to grid I notice big cloud looking and sounding like sudden depressurization with accompanied lag. I didn't yet had crash.

I seem to have the same problem, and since OP and I are both playing on minimal settings, maybe it's related to that or the hardware (I play on integrated graphics) in use?
I've attached a screenshot to show the issue we're talking about.

Hello, Engineers!
As this thread is rather old now, can I please ask if any of you are still experiencing it nowadays on current game version (v197.181)? Or can you confirm that this issue was likely fixed through the time and various game updates?
If you are still experiencing it - what does it look like now? Did the behavior changed?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Kind Regards
