Hard to describe, but SERIOUS bug!
I'm gonna have to set this up for you...
I play on a server. Doesn't allow scripts. Sorters are pain, so I manage inventory manually...
This involves, once in a while, going to the inventory screen and moving stuff around so it's halfway organized...
Here's what happens:
I sit in a cryo tube... open the Inventory screen... I switch the left pane from my personal inventory to the base inventory, and select hide empty. Scroll thru the list, and whenever something needs to be moved, I type in the name of the container i want on the right pane search, i.e. "ots" gives me my "Ingots" container; "ores" gives me my "Ores" container. Then I just double-click on the left hand item I want to transfer and voila, it is in the appropriate container.
Since 6th Anniversary update, when I do this, whatever I double-click gets transferred to the inventory of the cryo-chamber I am in, instead of to the single container that is filtered on the right side. Initially I though everything was disappearing! Then I saw it in my cryo-chamber inventory.

Yeah, they borked the inventory system completely- you need to highlight the inventories by clicking on something in the target block inventory in the right-hand side. It's been reported; they might fix it in a year or two, they may not because they are currently optimising the PC release of the game in order for it to work easily on console/console controls...

Exact same issue, sorting inventories, or basically anything to do with inventories is completely borked for me.
