Gyroscopes are weird with wheels and thrusters
Won't Fix
I started off on the moon, and as people who start there knows you get a rover. I upgraded that rover to have hydrogen tank and some thrusters.
But once I try to fly every other time it starts rotating and I have to salvage and rebuild gyroscope to fix it. Idk if anyone seen this happen since not many people use both thrusters and wheels on the ships
Hello,
Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported? It would be helpful to have a blueprint of the grid if it keeps happening regularly. Could you make a video of what is happening?
Any additional information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
Kind Regards

I can confirm that this has been happening to me as well. That being said, it does seem to happen more often with the Atmospheric Wings mod by Digi, but not exclusively. (Linked here)
I have tried to add a blueprint with those wings, and without, as it occurs rather regularly to both of them when they are in the air. Copy-pasting the ship 3 feet to the left seems to rather reliably fix this issue, but creating it from a blueprint does not, and though I have experimented rather heavily with this, turning gyroscopes/wheels/thrusters off and back on does not do anything at all.
Moving forward appears to be the impetus that triggers the gyroscopes to freak out, and they seem to almost pick a point at random and override the ship direction towards that point.

Hello, Engineers,
thanks for info you provided. As it is quite long time from when this thread was submitted, let me ask if the issue is still happening to you, or if you can confirm that it is no longer happening and was probably fixed in meantime.
