Grinding thruster and crash

Won't Fix

I was playing online with my freind and when i grinded down a thruster on a earth like spawn ship it crashed my game my frend tried grinding it a well and it also crashed his game. It dose not seem to crash when we grind down anything else.

I have the same bug

thanks for reaching us with you issue. However, it s not happening to me when trying. Spawned on Earth-like and upon grinding atmospheric thrusters, nothing happened, game was still running. Same when trying to grind down hydrogen thruster on the ship. In fact, I was able to grind down every single block on the landing ship.

Tested in single player, in Lobby (Private, Friends) and on dedicated server as well.

Can you please specify on which of these did you experienced the issue? Or was it on public server?

Are you running the game vanilla, or using some mods?

Was it just one time thing, or are you still experiencing it? If yes... can you provide crash log, please?

You can access your log files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.

This happend to me on a a Private server and after trying it my self some more i have noticed no matter what server im on it will happen to me but with my freind it only happens to him when the server is hosted by me. also from what i can tell this only happens with atmosphereic thrusters. I am using vanilla no mods. Also the log is attached.

thanks for providing the log. It seems that the geometry file for atmospheric thruster is corrupted on your game. Can you please try to run Verify integrity of game files (right click on the game -> Local files). See if you get this specific file fixed by running this process. If it will still happen to you, next I would try to uninstall and reinstall the game. That should fix it for sure.

If you will experience the issue even after performing provided steps, can you please send me the save of your affecter world?

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.
