Graphics glitch

Hello, hope someone can help. I'm getting game breaking graphical glitches. Basically the surface of planets isn't were it looks like it is, buildings and ships built on the surface of any of the planets become floating 100 meters above the surface, as do ore deposits. I am able to fly under the mesh of the map (into the planets) it happens randomly as far as I can tell but happens pretty much every time I play, if I restart game it will be ok for a while and then come back. I'm running the game on Nvidia gtx 1080 based system , I play with a couple of friends that have had the isssue but only rarely and both are using AmD Radeon graphics, that's the only differences I can come up with that might be a pointer.

Hey, I noticed you're having the exact same problem as me where the atmosphere goes completely black.. You can find it over here which other people are facing the same issue... To help it gain more attention, leave a comment of your system specs. Strength in numbers right?

so how do you think his problem is the same as yours, cos from his description, it doesnt sound anything like your problem, his problem looks closer to the planet surface voxel LODing issue, where you travel far enough, and the voxel LODing breaks, so the correct surface you are on is still displaying one of the LODs that was there before you got to that location

I suppose it's something like this?:

Then I have the same issue. Voxel texture is out of its real position. Mostly seen on icy moons.
