Gatling guns firing beyond 800m range

I've noticed many players abusing this thing to pick out offline players' base defences: They fly around 900m away, using a gatling gun, giving offline players absolutely no way to defend.

I had actually thought all three projectiles were limited to 800 meters, which would've made sense. Manually being able to fire farther breaks any chance to defend your base while offline.

Hi,

Actually projectile max range is random (+/- 20% of the max projectile range), That's why this can happen.

We will think about this, if it's good behaviour or not.

In space, there is no such thing as max range ...

Theoretically ISS can be shot down by projectile fired from another galaxy billions years ago :-)

Realism-wise I wouldn't mind "unlimited" ranges at all, however balance-wise this is a bit of a nasty issue since there's simply no defence against this while you are offline.
