Game will not load after steam install

Won't Fix

Hello,

I am a new customer, and I've purchased and installed the SPaceEngineers game on my windows 10 computer through Steam. I am having trouble running the game, though.

When I try to run the game, either using the play button on Steam, or using the Space Engineers icon on my desktop, I get an initial screen with the game name, version, etc... I also briefly see a message about logging on Steam, the initial screen again, and after that, the game silently crashes.

I went through the verifications, but got no luck. i also tried reinstalling, but got the same behavior.

Checking on the log files(two log files are generated for each attempt, one related to SpaceEngineers itself, the other related to VRageRenderer-DirectX11), i saw no error message on them, except a complaint that there is no SpaceEngineer.cfg file.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for contacting us. Can you please try your Steam account on a different PC if it's possible? I would also recommend to back up and delete the whole Roaming file.

Kind Regards
