Game locks up about every 10 mins

Game just locks up. I can see the grass moving in the background but can not move. i have installed the game on a diff drive. did the hole delete the cache and the cfg file.
i am runing a i7 9700 with a 1660ti.
windows 10 full update
geforce drivers 445.87
