Game freezes when downloading workshop content
I just came back to the game after a few months, and when I tried to open the server browser, the game inexplicably froze with a white screen. I checked the task manager and although it was spending a fair bit of CPU time, it wasn't taking much memory, and the disk usage (on a striped dynamic HDD setup) was up to 35 MB/s, probably maxing out the drives. It went away after a few minutes, so I figured this might have just been the game updating workshop content in a kind-of crude way.
I guess I should also add that the game has a mini freeze whenever the server list adds a new server to the list, noticeable by moving the mouse around and seeing when the server description hover-over updates its position to the mouse, synchronized with the white loading circle on the bottom right.
