Game freezes for a second each time i place or remove a block from a large grid

Whenever I try to place a block or remove a block on my mothership it freezes for a second. What I find weird is that when friends join the server, they dont experience the same bug. As you can see in the video I provided, it only happens on large grids, and in some cases only happens with bigger blocks. Normal light blocks seem to be unaffected most of the time. It is very weird, and sometimes it isnt there at all. I dont get it and I have already tried many things. I have alot of mods installed but this happened before most of them was added aswell.

CPU: i7-6800k
RAM: 32GB
GPU: GTX 1070
