Game crashes periodically

Solved

Hello,

the game crashes after playing some time. First it starts to hang for a second or less. If I continue

playing it will hang the entire computer and I have to use the reset button. From all the crashes I managed to get one log file with some error in it.

2019-01-13 17:06:32.275 - Thread: 62 -> Exception occured: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for your response. Could you please try to play without mods and confirm this issue also occurs without mods?

Thank you!

Hello,

it crashes also with no mods/scrip.

It seems to do it faster if I mine. Maybe it is linked to all the particles generated when you mine(smoke, sparks etc.)

Hello,

I updated to the latest drivers and is still crashes. I attach another log. It seems to be better then the last one and indicates an error in the rendering pipe . Maybe you forgot to release some COM objects?

Windows reported after the game crash that the video driver crashed.

Hello, Dexter,

this thread is quite old, as well as last comments here. Are you still experiencing the crashes even on current (v197.181) or recent game versions?

It is likely the issue got fixed by various game updates, fixes and hotfixes with the time. Can you confirm that you are no longer experiencing it, please?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

I did not play Space Engineers since a long time.

I don't know if it is fixed or not.

If other player did not complain it s probably gone.

As I said I don't know.

Best Regards.
