Game controlls freeze. music, background, grass etc keeps playing

Won't Fix

(This is from the ticket i made, wanted to post it here also to see if community have found a fix or maybe other people with same problems)

Hi there,

I recently upgraded my pc with

i5 9600kf

MSI z390m gaming edge ac

Gigabyte ATC800 cooler

NZXT h400i case

16gb ram Corsair Vengeance

(MSI GTX 1070 Gaming, not part of the upgrade, was allready in)

Since this upgrade my game freezes when starting the game, the freezes take from 10 to 60 seconds.

When the freeze is there the music and background keeps playing, ingame the grass keeps moving and thrusters keep glowing, everything else stops. I can move my mouse but i cant click anything.

here are the things i tried to fix it:

- Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg

- Delete Shadercache

- verify the game

- Uninstalled from SSD, Installed on HDD

- Did a windows update, it downloaded some additional files.

- Downloaded latest .NET Framework (Runtime)

- Downloaded latest Visual c++ redist

- tried changing process affinity from normal to high

- Disabled 2 of 6 cores

None of these have fixed the problem. the moment it runs (highest settings) i have 120 fps

cpu - 51%

gpu - 46%

ram - 48%

I requested help on steam forums, this is where user Dan2D3B helped me with these possible fixes

Ive added the .log and .cfg if it could help find the problem. (is in the ticket i made)

You are using version 192. Can you please to update to version 193, try the game again and send us a new log?

I checked that this time i'm on the newest version (193), Sadly the freezes still occur.

I have to say i'm also in contact with you via a ticket with your QA team, i've send them this clip of whats happening.

I appreciate this thread is quite old. Is this still an issue that persists with you? We have had a number of updates since your post so this may now be resolved. Please let me know and I will close this if required :)
