Hello, Gemini Sierra!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. I have come across an old Steam thread where users experienced the same issue. It was resolved for them by reinstalling the game. https://steamcommunity.com/app/244850/discussions/0/2138588424864908958/

I would also suggest the following:

  • Verify your game files in Steam
  • Right click on Space Engineers in Steam Library → Properties → Local Files → Verify Integrity of Game Files

  • Delete SpaceEngineers.cfg file
  • It means your game configuration will be deleted
  • You can access your SpaceEngineers.cfg by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers.
  • Delete ShaderCache folder
  • Back up your whole Space Engineers Roaming folder and delete it
  • Restart Steam
  • Reinstall the game

Please let us know how you get on :)

Kind Regards

Well there's the rub, I don't want to uninstall and re-install the game, I'd lose all my other saves.

I've run a validation, one file downloaded, but that hasn't fixed it.

removed the shadercache folder and spacenegineers.cfg... didn't fix it.

Not going to remove the whole space engineers folder under Roaming... I'd lose all my other saves... really delete everything? that's your answer?

It's like the scenario doesn't save the progress off the objectives when saving and exiting the game.

It's to bad. This seemed like a decent scenario and the only one that had objectives

Hello, Gemini Sierra!

You can pop your saves etc to one side backed up and put them back in after.

I would certainly suggest doing this if this has fixed the issue for other users :)
