Friend can't respawn because it says streaming.
Won't Fix
Friends are joining my save file. when they die and respawn the get stuck in the respawn menu saying streaming. their bodys are in the world where they picked to spawn. we are playing with mods.

Sorry that you and your friends are experiencing this issue. As you've mentioned friends rather than a single person I would guess it is an issue with the world rather than multiple people. Firstly, I would suggest disabling all mods and testing if the same thing happens as mods can quite often cause issues and we always ask for these to be disabled first. I assume that you have a medbay avaialble and it is set to no one so that they can respawn but it sounds like they're not managing to get that far? Is it possible to try this on a fresh save without any mods too and just make sure it's not a connection issue or something from your side? Are you friends able to join other servers? Has this only just started happening?

It's just the network code. When it's trying to give you a preview of the place you're about to spawn it has to render in first, and this can take a long and inconsistent amount of time. Additionally, if you click 'respawn' before it's actually finished rendering in it can get you stuck in a 'streaming' loop where, as you describe, your body is visible to other players but all you can see is black.
