Faction members cannot access my ships

I've been playing with a friend and built 2 ships that she CANNOT access at all. I can't even change the permissions on the thrusters for her to use. This is a major bug from what i can see back in 2015 from Google searches.
I'll leave a positive review on Steam once this bug gets fixed as this is a Co-op game. Not a "i built this, its mine, F*** the faction"
