Explorer Achievement Sometimes Unobtainable on PC?

My friend and I visited all the planets and moons in a survival game but I did not get the Explorer achievement. Oddly enough my friend got the achievement. We visited all the planets and moons together, except the Earth like planet which we have gone to in other games.

I noticed the counter was not updated each time I visited a planet, whereas it was updated for my friend. He has had the game for much longer than me so maybe that has something to do with it? Maybe it is related to when Triton was added or when the Xbox Explorer achievement was fixed?

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for your report. I just retested this achievement and I was able to accomplish it. Can you please recheck if you have really visited all these six planets:

Earth
Moon
Alien
Europa
Mars
Titan

Regarding the Triton planet, we will adjust this achievement.

I have it now! I think the page just wasn't getting refreshed.

I had turned off the Steam overlay which is why I did not get the popup notification. So that part was user error.

Were you able to reproduce the issue with the visit count not updating? The count stayed zero the whole time. That happened over the course of several weeks for me where I opened and closed Steam.
